Sweco
About the Client
Sweco is one of Europe’s leading engineering and architecture consultancies, delivering sustainable solutions for cities and communities. The workplace was designed to reflect the company’s values of innovation, technical excellence, and environmental responsibility while creating a flexible environment that supports multidisciplinary collaboration. The objective was to develop a modern office that promotes creativity, knowledge sharing, and employee well-being within a highly efficient workplace.
Design Concept | Connected Collaboration
Inspired by Scandinavian design principles, the concept embraces simplicity, functionality, and timeless elegance. Clean architectural lines, restrained material palettes, abundant natural light, and carefully selected textures create an environment that feels calm, sophisticated, and highly efficient. The workspace emphasizes openness and transparency, encouraging collaboration while maintaining a refined corporate identity that aligns with Sweco’s global design philosophy.
Design Thinking
The planning strategy focused on creating a highly connected workplace with intuitive circulation and flexible work environments. Departments are organized to encourage seamless collaboration while providing quiet spaces for focused tasks. Meeting rooms, collaboration zones, and breakout areas are distributed strategically to support different working styles. Neutral materials, natural finishes, acoustic treatments, and energy-efficient lighting contribute to employee comfort and long-term sustainability. Every design decision reinforces clarity, efficiency, and adaptability, reflecting Sweco’s engineering-driven approach to workplace design.
Project Delivery
Delivered as a comprehensive Design & Build project, the workspace was executed through close coordination between architects, engineers, consultants, and construction teams. Detailed planning, transparent communication, and proactive project management ensured smooth execution across every phase. Rigorous quality control, coordinated procurement, and continuous client engagement allowed the project to be completed while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and faithfully translating the design vision into the built environment.
